This website is made available through funding by the California Climate Investments (CCI) and the Sierra Nevada Conservancy. CCI is a statewide initiative that puts billions of cap-and-trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health and the environment — particularly in disadvantaged communities. The cap and trade program creates a financial incentive for industries to invest in clean technologies and develop innovative ways to reduce pollution.By late 2023, the cap and trade auctions had supported more than $9.8 billion in projects of the California Climate Investments program.More than a third of California Climate Investments must benefit disadvantaged communities, low-income communities, and low-income households.Information about the CCI program can be found at:https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/our-work/programs/california-climate-investments/about
